The tools! I wash my brushes using MAC's brush cleanser, alternatively can use baby shampoo. I use my hand and swirl the brush around until the water runs clear, I then line them up on a towel placed under a radiator and fold the towel in half so the brushes are covered. After a few hours they are dry soft, fluffy and smell clean and fresh.
