I got these as a gift for Christmas. Pricey yes, worth it, yes every penny. They are a little bulkier than usual straightners but I can straighten my hair much faster with them as I don't have to repeatedly go over the same strip. To use you fill a small tank with deionized water. Turn them on and select the heat setting, you have a choice of three. They heat quickly and glide through the hair effortlessly. A small comb is attached in them to ensure hair goes through evenly, however it is removable, I myself like this feature. What have I noticed that make these worth it? 1. Quick to use 2. I can use a lower heat setting compared with other straightners, 3. They glide through my hair 4. I no longer have to pick up handfuls of hair off my clothes and floor BECAUSE these do NOT rip the hair out. 5. My hair stays straight until the next wash, 6. Hair is in much better condition, 7. The little water tank lasts a few goes. If you have thick hair these are a game changer. Show less
