Had a pair of the GHD Eclipse which I found amazing on my long frizzy hair sadly they broke after only a year, so i got sent the Platinum as a replacement. The Platinum was not nearly as effective at straightening my hair and it developed a fault only 6 months later. Having gone back to my old GHDs (6yrs old) they work better than the Platinum and I am looking to try another brand in the future Show less
