There are so many colors to choose from, you will be able to chose one that is perfect for your skin color. What I need in summer is something that minimizes the appearance of pores, and conceals my imperfections. It leaves my skin feeling clean. After I moisturizie, I apply foundation with a brush to even tone and cover imperfections. For complete coverage, I dot foundation on my nose, forehead, cheeks, and chin.
