I had a sample of this scrub from clarins and decided to give it a try as I needed to exfoliate. It has a cream-gel formula and as most scrubs you apply it on damp skin. Initially on application it felt quite nice and cooling, you can also feel the tiny exfoliating bits working on your skin as you rub it in. After rubbing it in I noticed that it felt quite greasy/oily and once I rinsed it off it left my skin quite sticky and it just didn’t feel nice at all. My skin was left tacky and I then had to go over with another cleanser just to get rid of the feeling. It also left my skin with red patches and a little irritated. As for exfoliation I feel that the little bits did a good job at that, hence the 3 stars. I think this may work better for someone who has extremely dry skin, but maybe avoid if you have sensitive/reactive skin. Show less
