Not cleansing enough to replace shampoo

When I saw that Superdrug were selling a vegan, cruelty-free, '97% natural' hair range I jumped at the chance to get my hands on them. I'd heard good things about co-washing and so was excited to give it a try. I chose this product as it claimed to be cleansing as well as conditioning which suited me, as I was nervous about skipping my shampoo (I have oily roots). Unfortunately I didn't find this product cleansing at all, and I had a horrible greasy build-up after one wash. I've been continuing to use this after a quick shampoo and it works okay but isn't super conditioning either. The bottle is also very stiff and the nozzle very small, so it's hard to get enough product out (the formula is also very thick). This might work better for you if you have a dry scalp, but personally it did not suit my hair type at all and I wouldn't recommend.
