I love this toner. I wear makeup everyday and I am really conscious of removing all the makeup and dirt from my face and neck to prevent my pores getting clogged. I occasionally get the odd breakout (usually hormone related) but I find this toner helps keep any spots at bay and clears them very quickly. When I do get a breakout I find it tingles when I wipe over it with a cotton pad which I don’t mind the sensation of, it feels as though it’s working and drying the blemish up. I use this after initially washing my face with a Clinique cleanser. I then follow with a Clinique moisturiser and my face is left feeling really clean and refreshed. I do this twice a day and have noticed a massive difference in the appearance of my skin since using for the past two years. My skin is less oily, my pores appear much smaller, my breakouts are very few and far between and they clear up much faster. It states to avoid eye and lip area and if dryness was to occur then to reduce usage. I have never had to reduce usage but I guess that’s due to my combination skin type. I feel it’s an effective formula and delivers exactly what it’s advertising. Well worth the £19 and lasts a good few months as you don’t need to use a lot of product. Show less
