✨I’ve been looking for an acid based moisturiser and thought I’d give this a go as I already love The Ordinary products. It is very strange - it has gritty pieces in it (which I’m not sure why) and doesn’t really rub into the skin that well. It does not provide a good base to apply makeup, as the texture of the skin still feels gritty after application. That being said, it did smooth out during the day and my face does feel soft and hydrated. The price tag of £5 is what drew me to it so cheap enough to either carry on with or discard, but not for you if you’re not a fan of the grittiness.

Peapea Try mixing it with a water-based serum to get rid of some of the grittiness (which is actually the Vit C). It wasn't the grittiness that got to me as much as the greasiness. I'm using mine up on my body - couldn't get on with this at all :(
