I have a VERY sensitive eye area. About 6 months ago I developed an allergic reaction to another product I was using, and almost nothing was gentle enough to use around my eyes without irritating them during the healing process. This Avene eye cream was one of the products I tried. I was disappointed as my eyes seemed to get on with it at first, but after a few days I felt that telltale burning sensation I get when my skin is reacting to something and had to stop using it. I don't know if my skin truly doesn't like this product, or if it just needed a breather while it healed. I may try again. Show less
