The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer

The silicones in this help really blur pores and give the skin a silky smooth effect. Foundation sits well over the top and if you like the matte look this primer is good for that. For me I found it a little heavy on my skin, and my pores feel a little clogged after using so it’s a product I tend to use for going out makeup to make it last rather than everyday looks. I don’t think I’ll repurchase in the future as it doesn’t suit my needs but I’m glad I tried it.

I was really looking forward to trying this primer as I have lots of The Ordinary products and love them. This primer is just really average. It’s easy to apply, it’s not tacky etc but I don’t feel that it grips my make up well. I will finish the product but won’t repurchase, there are better primers on the market.

I fell in love with its texture, so easily spreadable and is an amazing primer. I fell in love with my skin just with the primer on, as it gives you a glow, a fine finish and then allows make it be put on in seconds. I have large pores and those vanished. I felt like it compliments the make up rather than just being a primer. The touch of it is beautiful

I have recently switched my primer,and this is actually very Good,the most important thing is it doesnt make your foundation flaky❤

Really nice primer. Leaves a nice smooth surface for your foundation to go on to. Still very breathable though

Pros nice lightweight creamy consistency, blurs pores and lines, great base for foundation and very inexpensive. Cons For me it didn't last long but mabey I used too much

This primer is amazing! I have super oily skin and after trying hundreds of primersthis is the one I keep going back to. It goes lovely on my skin, helps my makeup stay in place and it’s crazily cheap. Even if you just try it & end up not liking it, it’s less than £4 on their website

This primer is hands down the best primer I’ve used. It’s perfect for my oily combination skin. Perfect underneath makeup. The consistency is amazing, just glides on to your skin and sinks in. The ordinary products are one of the best skin care out there. I’ve just ordered another tube of this primer. My all time fave 😍😍😍😍

I had been wanting to try something from The Ordinary for some time after reading and seeing good reviews about their products. This was the first product I purchased from the brand. Packaging is pretty basic but the product is fab and it’s very affordable at less than £5. There’s not many primers you can get for under £5 that are great quality but this is one of them. Silicone primers are my favourite to use which is why I decided to purchase this particular product. Consistency wise it’s fairly thin and a little really does go a long way. It’s easy to apply, I apply it just using my hands. It absorbs into the skin fast and well. Once applied and the rest of my makeup applied it really gave my makeup a matte look. It gave a perfect base for my makeup. My skin type is dry and sensitive and this product is hydrating which really helped my dry skin and in regards to my sensitive skin it didn’t irritate it at all or cause any adverse reactions. You can also use this alone as a non-greasy hydrator that reduces the look of pores and imperfections but this isn’t something I’ve done. It’s alcohol free, oil free, nut free, vegan, gluten free & cruelty free which is great. I would definitely recommend this product to you and I would repurchase it!

10/10 would highly highly recommend this product to anyone it’s so cheap for the price from my memory it was £5 and it’s lasted me at least 4 weeks already it leaves a great feeling on your face and it looks amazing
