Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask

I absolutely love this face mask. It leaves me skin so radiant and I use it twice a week. The first couple of weeks, I didn’t see much of a difference in my face, however, after a month, my skin was glowing and it plumped my skin making it look so young and fresh!

I'm a long time lover of the Aztec Indian healing clay mask which I mix with cider vinegar, this gives comparable results but is less messy, takes less time and is easier to remove. I still use the healing clay but thanks to the Liz Earle I use it less often and I save time. I wouldn't expect it to work well for dry skin as it really draws out oils, but for oily or combo skin this is an excellent product!

I love spending a Sunday morning with Liz Earle and still think their Cleanse and Polish to be one of the best cleansers on the market. I was sent this deep cleansing mask to trial and when directly compared with other clay masks I have tried, I think that it performs well. The one thing that I love about this is that it isn't thick in consistency like most others. It has a pleasant medicinal scent and quickly dries up blemishes and the sponges that come in the starter kit make removing it an absolute breeze. It leaves skin feeling clean and soft and it a nice skin treat.

I want to love this product, but my face doesn't! It leaves my skin feeling taught and dry after using and it has clogged my pores on my nose before. Wouldn't recommend for dry skin.

My face felt sore and was red after using this. Turns out it has camphor in, so beware! Not suitable for sensitive skin, although I dont find mine that sensitive in general. Not had this occur with a facemask before and generally find liz earle skin care to be gentle. It does take a while to remove because it is clay.

This mask leaves your face feeling soft and nourished right after use. It is a strange brown colour and smells odd but once you have left it on for about 0 minuets, it leaves your face feeling 'loved'. The only downside it is does become quite tight in your face and uncomfortable so may not work on all skin types.
