I've had this hairbrush in the past and I remember it being a solid well made hairbrush- its quite compact and not clunky to use, the combs on the brush are firm and don't break which is what you want with a hairbrush- it untangles knots and brushes through hair well, I've got quite fine hair that gets knotty and this brush would do a good job at keeping my hair smooth and soft. I would say this brush is firmer than others but probably ideal for people with thicker/long hair. Show less
