I bought the Chestnut Brunette Gloss to help boost the redness in my hair as I love the red tones, I think I was a red head in a previous life. To me this is the maintenance of the brilliant colour I have already applied to my hair. I use this every week after the first week of applying the dye. I apply more around my face mid lengths and ends. I dont apply it to the root area as I want the balayage effect without the hassle. Once I have applied it, I will run a wide tooth comb through my hair to make sure that it is evenly distributed. Twenty minutes later I rinse it out and my hair smells lovely, feels lovely and my hair is nourished, manageable and smooth. Show less
