Nyx Ultimate Brights eyeshadow palette (not listed) This is a fun palette, with some relatively safe through to fairly garish colours. I don't reach for it often. The quality is variable: all the shades show up as matte on my eye, and some need colour boosting with (for example) the Nyx jumbo eye pencil to make them true. But it's a good intro into reasonably pigmented colourful shadows, which I'm glad I have.

I'm looking forward to trying the Morphe eyeshadow primer that GlamGeek sent, and arrived today. Also bought (from Boots, during their points event) Maybelline highlighter and a nude lipstick (the latter as a mixing agent, it's not a colour I can wear), and two Nyx butter glosses.
Quick Fix Facials anti blemish mud mask (green, not listed) I reach for this when I have spots. It reminds me of the old school masks in the 90s, drying solid onto your face, although nowhere near as harsh as I remember those being. It's tightening/ drying, but my skin needs this type of care less than it used to. It has a very pleasant blueberry scent, and I think it helps regulate oil production/ minimise spots (to the extent that I can tell given I use it infrequently and I have several products in my routine). Will buy again.

Cetaphil Moisturising Cream (big tub, not listed) This is my backup moisturiser for most things, has been for years. It's come down in price in the UK in the last few years. It's quite thick, too much for my face except in the dead of winter, but it's lovely for itchy skin that doesn't need something specialist, legs after shaving, etc. Does pill a bit, best used at night.

Coach EDP (not listed) I was given this as a sample when looking for a perfume with similar vibes to my much loved Britney Spears Sunset Fantasy (but less young). It's an unusual pick, but the lady was right. The scent I get is roses. I would have thought roses would be my mum or grandma, but it's actually surprisingly age appropriate for me. I love the scent, which doesn't seem to morph into different things the way a lot of perfumes do. The reason I probably won't buy this is the longevity. It's a couple of hours on me at most. It's gorgeous, but at this price I need it to last longer.

Quick Fix Facials (not listed) Pink hydrating one: got me into this brand. I'm not a fan of sheet/ tissue masks, I find them expensive, messy, and wasteful, so I picked this up. It smells nice, is easy to apply (as these things go), no reaction in my skin (although the gold one gave me a rash). Skin noticeably more hydrated afterwards and for days afterwards. A little goes a long way, good value for money. Would buy again.
