Chanel Les Beiges Eau De Teint Water-Fresh Tint

I tried this tint during summer because I heard amazing things and my skin was clearing up nicely and I only had the odd blemish. This stuff is so beautiful on the skin! I used my usual primers and also had to set it with powder - as I have oily skin and I always have to set my foundations. This gives a beautiful tint to the skin and I can easily get away with medium when I’m tanned and it give a sheer tint of colour, so a lot of people will be able to find their shade in this. It doesn’t cover blemishes, but like the name says it’s a water tint so I didn’t expect it to - I just added a little concealer on my blemishes. Because I don’t tan my face, I could see the difference between the side with the product and without. It has some nice skin care ingredients in it and it doesn’t feel like anything on the skin. I’ve bought this in 2 different shades and I can’t get enough of it! It’s perfect for summer and was my staple base product for the entire season. I would say that you need to work quickly with buffing this in as it dries pretty quickly and if you go back over once you’ve applied to another section then it can come off. I used 3 pumps for my entire face and it looks lovely. The first time I applied I used 6 because I wanted to see how it built up, but I realised quickly that I only needed half that amount. I work in sections so use one pump for my right cheek, half my chin and half nose; 2nd pump on the left side; 3rd pump on my forehead and I don’t need anymore. I use the handy little brush you get with the foundation and do the pump directly onto the brush. The little beads of colour burst on the skin when you apply it. The only reason for the 4 stars is the price - it’s almost £50 so is pretty expensive although I haven’t managed to find another tint comparable to this so it’s very unique.
