Givenchy Teint Couture Everwear Foundation

The foundation and concealer have extremely beautiful packaging in my opinion. The foundation retails for £36.50 for 30ml which I feel like is relatively reasonable for a high- end foundation. Considering one of my holy grail- Nars foundations retails for around the same price (£32-£35)- I think the sleek sturdy glass square bottle and silver top packaging gives it that uber luxurious feel. And not to forget the added bonus- the pump! It's one of those foundations that I like to keep on my vanity! Love it ❤👌 Now onto the foundation claims: This silky, high-coverage foundation perfectly evens out the complexion, smooths the skin's texture, lastingly conceals imperfections and revives the skin's natural glow. The complexion appears impeccable, even up-close, and is lastingly uniform. Its 24-hour* wear, SPF 20 PA ++ protection, moisturizing properties and waterproof** formula. For reference I picked up the shade Y300 and 22 for the concealer ( will match someone around an Nc30-nc40 with reference to Mac shades). I'm around an NC35 and it works well on my skintone- perfect warm undertone! I do feel like the finish of this foundation is matte, as it does claim to have matifying properties although it has a more skin like natural matte luminous finish. What does that mean? It's matte- but because, 'skin still looks like skin' - the radiance is still visible and so you have that youthful glow. However personally, I do prefer more dewy bases for day to day and so after my initial application, I paired this foundation with a more glowy primer - and lo and behold- the finish is incredibly stunning. Why? Because the way this foundation just melts into the skin, gives amazing coverage- yet looks so beautiful on the skin. It doesn't look too made up although it covers. I see this foundation ideal for like a soft glam look- even ideal for weddings or events.It also has SPF 20 and lasts 10hrs+ and wears on the skin very well.The foundation does claim to wear for 24hrs!
