Max factor mascara have always been my favourite. This adds great length and black colour to my lashes. The wand is very different to others as it has a circle ball at the tip. I find this super useful for my bottom lashes. It’s long lasting and I’ve never experienced smudges if I rub my eyes. I Recommend!

I received this mascara as part of a gift set. The actual mascara itself is quite a good product. Goes on smoothly and makes my lashes look lovely and long. However, the brush???! This reminds me of some sort of medieval torture instrument. Absolute rubbish!! Still trying to work out what the little ball at the top is for? Other than splodging mascara where it shouldn’t be. I just use an old clean brush I had so I don’t waste what really is a very good product. For this reason, I wouldn’t buy again.

I am still on the hunt for my ultimate mascara and tried this one because I love the original Max Factor False Lash Effect. I found the shape of the brush tricky to use and I got the product on my upper waterline. The unusual shape brush reminds me of the Dilophosaurus on Jurassic Park! The product is wetter than the original formula and I found that lashes clumped together. The lengthening effect is similar but the volumising effect is not comparable. The main benefit compared to the original is that it is more intensely black. An OK mascara but definitely not ‘EPIC.’

I am in my mid 30's with combination, fair tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is medium brown, combination with coarse texture.
This has taken the place of Benefit They’re Real Mascara as my fave and at around half the price!
The wand was a little tricky to get used to initially but by my second go I had long, non clumpy eyelashes! The little ball brush at the end of the wand is perfect for reaching the smaller and finer lashes.
Such Good value for the money- best ‘drugstore’ mascara I’ve tried so far.
