Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara

I tested out this mascara whilst doing first impression on my YouTube channel (search Chloe Luckin), and I liked it at the time but wasn’t blown away. After using it for the past few weeks, I’ve decided that whilst it’s a good mascara, it’s not my favourite. It feels comfortable on the lashes, doesn’t flake or smudge at all and doesn’t irritate my eyes which is great! However, when I try to build it up it just goes like a clump fest! You can’t separate the lashes because the brush is like a standard one, so just builds on top making the lashes very thick but not in the good look. This is the perfect mascara for lower lashes, but I wouldn’t want to purchase two mascaras to use each time I wear mascara. With one coat, it looks nice and natural on the lashes, but nothing that blew my mind. With coat 2, it looked nice but started to clump especially on my outer lashes. And with the third coat, it just clumped a lot and the lengthening effect wasn’t really there. So even if you want to do two coats, you’ll probably get quite a bit of clumping! There are both good and bad points with the mascara, but ultimately I’d reach for others over this. Good points - vegan, cruelty free, doesn’t flake or smudge, very pigmented, nice size brush, nice formula (not too wet or dry) Bad points - not buildable at all, clumps easily, doesn’t separate the lashes, not enough length from a lengthening mascara. Overall, it’s a good mascara however in my opinion it’s not worth the money and I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase another. If you like the look of a false lash effect or thick and long lashes, I’d recommend my two holy grails - Tarte Maneater Mascara and Maybelline The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara.

Omg, I was so excited to try this and I absolutely love it, who needs 4 seperate mascaras when u can just have this 4 in 1...it’s an absolute game changer. When I use this people think I’ve had lash extensions (in a salon-not the DIY extensions) this is always my go to mascara, even when applied 3 or 4 layers (for a dramatic look) I will never get spiders eyes, and that’s why I love it

I was given this as a gift and tried it out today I don’t particularly like the brush I think it can make the product go on a bit clumpy and left some residue on my upper eye lid. Apart from that it is a good product with nice packaging.

So I usually use They're Real by Benefit, since using Theyre Real anything else is a disappointment...until now. Got this in a bundle from Tarte in January and only just opened this recently. It has same effect as They're Real, lengthens, separates and gives volume. Doesn't transfer or flake. It is hard to get off at the end of the day but that doesn't bother me. I'd rather that than flaking and transferring. I think there's a waterproof version.. I don't have that it still doesn't budge!

I had a mini of this mascara which I purchased in Sephora on a holiday to Orlando as I had seen great reviews on it and as I’m a mascara junkie I had to try it out myself. Packaging I absolutely love and price point wise is it’s more on the expensive side but well worth it. I have short, stubby lashes and anything that can give my lashes more volume and length im all for and this mascara promised that hence me purchasing it. It’s a cult classic and I can see why, it’s fab! It’s also vegan which is always good. I love the wand, it’s not too big neither too thin. On application it was very easy to apply even on my bottom lashes which are pretty much non existent. After one coat of it my lashes looked so much more longer, had volume to them and made them curl. Two coats of it and WOW! It really did separate my lashes and wasn’t clumpy at all in the slightest. It contains rice bran, olive esters & provitamin B5 which is said to help soften and nourish lashes and I felt this mascara did just that. It’s also available in waterproof if that’s something your looking for. Personally, I don’t really tend to purchase waterproof mascaras. Its formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate and gluten which is always good. I was gutted when my mini one dried out but I purchased a mystery bag from Tarte for their birthday and in it there was a full size mascara, was so pleased and happy! I would definitely recommend this product to you and I would repurchase it! Well worth the money!

This was a completely impulsive purchase which I’m so glad I made! The packaging is just lush and it’s probably become my favourite mascara (or maybe joint favourite with Bobbi Brown smokey eyes). The brush is a lovely shape and size and makes application so easy! I always end up having to get a cotton bud to wipe excess product that gets deposited on my eyelids or under the lower lashes and I just don’t have this problem with this mascara! There’s no clumping either! My are voluminous, longer and fuller and it stays put for ages. I always get fall out by the end of the day but there was definitely a lot less than I get with other mascaras. I will definitely be purchasing again!

Out of the several mascaras I've tried. This is my favorite this gives my naturally short lashes volume. It doesn't clump or shed. It also gives me lovely curly lashes. It's super black and pigmented. I know it's dearer as it's shipped from America so I always buy two and do an order to make it cost effective.

4* because it’s expensive & not easy to buy here in the U.K. with a reasonable postage cost. The mascara is perfect, it lengthens, creates volume, curls, is lovely & dark & doesn’t flake or smudge. Quite a large amount too so lasts at least 6 months.

This is the best mascara I have used so far, it lenghtens and makes my lashes look so beutiful and makes my eyes stand out definetly recommend, does what it says

I am a big fan of Tarte products at the moment and this one also didn't disappoint! This mascara lengthens, thickens and curls my lashes perfectly! It's pigmented, doesn't flake and seems to last throughout the day without any issues. I wear lashes quite often and feel bare without them. I still feel comfortable wearing this on its own without (and with, of course) lashes because they are so noticeable. I have found myself using this mascara on a daily basis lately so I really couldn't recommend it more!
