Mario Badescu Silver Powder

I’ve always had blackheads on my nose, I’ve spent so much time and effort trying to get rid of them. But after some research into the Silver Powder, I realised that it would just make my blackheads be less visible and I stopped aiming to eradicate them completely. I carefully applied the powder to my nose and ‘congested’ areas of my skin, the fall out is annoying but the silver powder only needs to be applied for a short amount of time. After washing it off with my toner, I was amazed at the results, my blackheads were not as visible as before. With each use it works better and better! Definitely a must have if like me you have a lot of blackheads!!

Applying this mask is a little unusual... it says to dampen a cotton pad, dip it in the powder and then wipe over the T Zone. I actually mix a little powder with some water and apply, as I find this easier. After the first use this powder literally dried up my breakout like you wouldn't believe. Downside is, that I now have a little bit of dry skin around the area, but I'd rather that than spots! My skin is typical combination, and can be really sensitive to products, but I've had no redness or nasty reactions, and my skin feels super smooth and clean!

This is a great product, I really notice a difference to my pores after using and they look much cleaner. I prefer to mix this product in my hand with a few drops of water rather than use the cotton bud method stated on the product which I find fiddly and difficult to apply. This dries out quickly once on the skin and I find it a quick and effective way of keeping my pores under control. I don’t use this all over my face, just on the more problematic areas on my t zone.
