I followed the instructions on the bottle and it did remove a great deal of my tan. However I also had to scrub my skin intensely.
I have since edited this review because as I continued to use, this eraser it no longer foamed up, it turned to water and it actually smells like peroxide. I would no longer buy this again and I would now only give it 1 star.

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with normal, fair tone skin and blue eyes. My hair is red, normal with normal texture.
This worked great to start with. Both on fresh tan mistakes ( a gradual tan that stained my palms orange before I'd even finished applying to my body!!) And on days old fake tan. Smells a bit odd but doesn't sting my sensitive skin. The only reason I won't buy again is after a couple of months it stopped foaming. The product just dropped out like water no matter how many times I shook and pumped. I didn't think this would that matter that much so I used the liquid but it didn't really remove the tan and just left me so patchy. Might be a defective bottle but I probably will try a different brand next time.

This is an absolute brilliant idea! I chose a bottle of this from Latest in Beauty and I’m so glad I did because last night whilst making a video for Youtube, I Swatched some self tanner on my hand and because it was a clear gel I forgot to clean it off. Today I woke up with two different coloured hands and God only knows how long I’d have had to stay like that for if I didn’t have this eraser!
I’m so glad it actually worked!

Great product, it is so easy to use, just apply, leave for 5 minutes and then rinse off. It actually works! Removes all tan buildup and streaks. Love it.

We have all suffered a self tan disaster from streaks to the dreaded orange hands. Have no fear bondi sands is here! While I can't claim to love the smell (it's a tad chemically) this product is great at removing stubborn tan build up and you'll love it if you are no fan of scrubbing your skin. It says to use a washcloth to remove but I think and exfoliating mitt/ gloves work better. I have already recommended this to a lady at work who had a disaster with some self tan in her hair line. It removes not bondi sands self tan, wish to see if it works even better paired with it's own brand product

As a fake tan newby I was so pleased this worked. It's amazing, apply to dry skin leave for 5 mins and wash off..removed all the streaks and build up with ease. Product smelt nice and left my skin feeling soft. Would absolutely recommend this product

This is an absolutely must-have product for any fake tan user (and particularly newbie fake-tanners like myself). It's so simple to use - just apply onto dry skin and then leave for 5 minutes before washing off in the shower. Although I also use it instantly to get rid of fake-tan hands directly after applying a tan. It does state that you might need to scrub a bit harder on more stubborn marks but I didn't need to scrub at all - it absolutely disappeared- even on my knee-caps and elbows where it usually streaks and gathers the worst as it's drier skin.
Will definitely repurchase.

I don't normally use fake tan because I am useless at applying it without getting streaks or patches. Bondi sands tan earaser made me feel confident to try! It actually works. It comes out as a foam/ mousse and smells quite nice, you leave it on for 5 mins and the tan is gone! It says to use on 3 day old tan to remove it but I also found that for streaks (I had quite a few) it lifted them to the right colour the day after applying the fake tan. It also worked brilliantly on my orange hands- I said I was rubbish at fake tan! Great product, works and is easy to use.

I have always been terrified of trying fake tan, I'm just rubbish at anything like that. I loved the idea of this because it gave me the confidence to try it out as there was a possibility of removing it. I obviously started off with a test patch to see how it worked. I left the patch for 3 days before using the tan eraser. At first I thought it didn't look like it was working, but by the time I left the shower, it was gone! Now I will be trying out a fake tan properly with confidence! This is such a cool product!

Courtesy of Glam geek they sent this self tan eraser and its my first Bondi Sands product. I don't fake tan often but when i do having streaks is inevitable- I found this to be a mousse froth consistency easy to spread on the skin and pleasant smelling. Add this 5 minutes before taking a shower and it really does lift any hard patches- especially good for hands/feet/elbows where fake tan gathers. I imagine this will be a big saver for all future self tan adventures and those troublesome lines that come with it. Well done Bondi!
