Maybelline The Nudes Palette

I absolutely love this eyeshadow palette i was so sad when the colours started to fade and fall out in my original palette (overuse) so i decided to buy it again. It may not be to other peoples taste but it does the job for me, i really like the fact that you can use them in a duo, trio or quad. The colours always apply easily, I’m not one for a sparkly eyeshadow anyway really, so this is perfect for me. I don’t think that i will ever stop using it.

I think the price is reflected wrongly, since it isn't £3.25 but £11.99 on the superdrug shop. The colours are okay - not too pigmented that it makes you look like putting on stage make-up. You can combine them for all sorts of different nude-ish looks also. It's nice that the back details different ways of combining the different colours for a nice look - that kind of thing is really helpful for beginners, I feel. Really like the two-ended applicator and brush - it's one of the best things about the palette to me, honestly. Although the applicator end is a bit delicate - too-vigorous use can make it fall off (but I've managed to get it back on so far). The problem is that it doesn't last. I think it might just make it through a quick dinner, but that's about it. In sum, if you're a beginner wanting to try out things, this is good because it comes with a brush, a good range of colours that don't make you look like a clown and a kind of guide on how to apply colours at the back of the palette. Otherwise, from there on, I'd move to other palettes.

The palette packaging is just a basic plastic shadow palette, nothing too fancy, there is also a sponge tip applicator which I never use.There is a nice colour variation in this palette ,there is cream to black and champagne to deep taupe shades. I also love the fact that all these shadow comes with variety of texture; there is matte, there is satin and there is couple of metallic shade.Some eye shadows here in the palette are really pigmented and opaque without even primer but there are few that are not pigmented enough. Lighter shadows of this palette doesn’t really shows up against my skin tone and some of them cause fall out and appears chalky as well. Now, the satin and metallic shades here are awesome in quality. They apply smoothly and appear with full pigmentation and have no fallout either. A big thumbs up for those shiny shade. Overall, I like the selection of shades and variety of texture in this palette. You can create lot of different ‘nude-ish’ look with those 12 shadows. It could be the perfect nude palette if those shadows were a bit better in quality.In my opinion, this is a palette for beginners and it’s nit my favourite since it could be better but it’s nut the worst.

If your starting out this is a great palette for you however I felt the eyeshadows were either tooo buttery-shimmers or were way too chalky- matters that fall out was insane and the focus was many brown tones. That being said it was set at a decent price for the amount of shades you get 💜

Real tea here, the colours of the blushed nudes looked super pretty and I was so excited and the moment I dug in. Chalky. Kickback. Stubborn. The pigments weren't as strong as I had hoped and when you blend too much it turns into a chalky faint grey mess. Its ok for beginners who want a natural everyday look, mostly because you can hardly see them on the lid. And compared to brands like Make up Revolution, this is overpriced crap. Go pick up a pallet that wont disappoint for £10 rather than this..

Got this pallette as a present. I think its a bit overpriced for what it is. Some of the darker colours are harder to blend but overall theyre easy to apply. Does fade throughout the day though. On love with the lighter colours and they are now used daily. The eyeshadows fall out easily and have to keep patting them back into place..

I don't like to buy Palettes unless I know that i'm going to use all of the eyeshadows they offer. Since all of these eyeshadows are very natural, I didn't hesitate to buy it. So far so good! The only downside is that since there are so many eyeshadows in the palette, there isn't very much of each one, but it seems to be lasting so far, so I can't complain (i've had it for a few weeks).

My little sisters got given this palette by one of their friends for their 12th birthday (they're twins); whenever they're out of the house, I snatch this palette out of their room and do my shadow. I don't think that I was expecting much when I first tried it but, I actually think the coverage is quite good. I would buy it again, it's not my favourite eyeshadow palette but, for the price, it is definitely worth it.

I'm not that great at doing eyeshadow looks but I have found this palette very easy to use. The shadows are blendable and very pigmented. There are many looks you can create from the colours. There is some fallout (especially with the shimmers) but I tend to wet my brush and that does help.
