Murad Environmental Shield Essential C Cleanser is the first cleanser that I've tried from Murad (usually use Clinique or Boots), This cleansing gel is generously provided in a 200ml tube which will last for at least 6 months used every day, if not considerably longer, so is good value in the longer term. Only a small amount of gel is required when using, though I find it best to add a little water rather than following the instructions to add and massage into a damp face, this way I can get a good lather, which I struggle to otherwise. The citrus smell makes the product refreshing but it's not so strong as to be off-putting. The result is a lovely fresh, hydrated, well-balanced and clean face, ideally set-up for applying Murad (or your own) moisturiser. I can't say as yet that I've noticed a big improvement in my skin from using this product, but I've used it without causing any breakouts or having any adverse side effects, such as an allergic reaction or dry skin, which is fabulous in itself! You can always rely on Murad for good quality skin care products that work for even sensitive skin. I was a little concerned about the 'do not get in your eyes' warning (of course any product in your eyes would be problematic!), but I dIdnt find this an issue - I didn't need to studiously avoid the lather making contact with my eyes (which would have been a pain) and no side effects were experienced (however of course it's not an eye make-up remover!). Personally I prefer a foaming cleanser rather than a gel and one that provides an all-in-one solution, so whilst I recommend this product, it's a four star review from me Show less
