On bare lips I think this does help them to look more plump, but over lipstick it doesn't do as much. I can see how their coloured lip plumpers would work well by themselves, but I feel like the point of the clear one is to be able to layer them on any lipstick and still get the same effect. it is quite a slow process to apply because you have to click the bottom of the pen, give it time to come out of the tip and then apply, which in the mornings I don't have time for. Its not at all sticky and I like the tingle it gives- its like very mild pins and needles- but I wouldn't repurchase purely because of the price tag. I'd recommend if you wanted to use this by itself as it does make a difference on bare lips, but otherwise go for a cheaper alternative like the ELF plumping lip gloss Show less
