This is a good idea, not everyone has a partner who can (or they trust to) put tan on their back - it has a clip which extends out, making it very useful for the entire back area. You do still have to stretch a little to try and work it out however it didnt take long for me to get used to the product itself. I used Bondi Sands Tanning Foam with this, the applicator did soak up a little of the product however I would expect this. It is very useful, my back is now the same colour as my legs - brilliant!
