I have an oily, acne prone and sensitive skin. I use this serum maybe every week. Not more than once a week. I use it when my pores get too congested. While immediate results are great, my skin is soft and clean, I always get more acne next day as it is pushing out the sebum from my pores but then they seem to get overclogged. While it pushes them to the surface it does not really clean them out. They end up being more visible the next day and all I can do to keep them clean is to do a facial. Little white and black dots are not the problem but definitely the ones that get clogged from inside creating painful enclosed acne which won't go away for days and I can't do anything about it. I do have a love/hate relationship with all BHA products I've tried but I think this one especially. Also, it is quite harsh on my face every time I use it. I can definitely feel quite intense tingling and trust me I can take a lot pain wise. So really I would only recommend this sparingly and if you have a skin that can take it. Show less
