For me, this worked far better on my cheeks than my lips! I found that it made little difference to either following the instructions, but if I applied a circle to each cheek, then rubbed in with my fingertips, it gave a lovely rosy glow which lasted all day without any touchups....

It didn't really alter my lip colour, and I found it to be quite drying!
