I have mixed and matched products in the past, but I am a 100% Drunk Elephant convert. Here's why- when you use ONLY DE... it actually works. It's as simple as that. If you're going to spend an arm and a leg, (which... let's face it, is what their products cost) why throw all of that money away by adding potentially harmful ingredients found in non-DE products? It defeats the purpose. We're paying DE handsomely for doing the research, leaving out the crap, and formulating the best "smoothie" of goodness for our skin. And when I haven't tried to pretend I know more than a lab full of sciency-skin-experts and just do what they say, my skin looks A-MAZING. No, I don't look like I've had a face lift, and I don't magically have chin implants or higher cheekbones... or any of the other facial features I longed for when I was younger, but this stuff works. The whole line works harmoniously together to make my skin look healthy, flushed, dewey and clear. Age spots and lines (which I thankfully don't have many of yet- I'm 30) are softened or disappearing after two months of solid DE use. My eye area, after using their eye creams religiously, are plumper and more taut and young looking than it was in my early 20s... no joke. Most importantly- I am fairly in-tune with the happiness and health of my skin, and I can tell that every time I put these products on my skin, it is grateful for the gentle exfoliating and/or moisture it's receiving. No redness, irritation or breakouts here- and I can honestly say that's a first for my complexion. Buy it. Buy it all. Get rid of everything else. You won't regret it. Oh- and one bottle of most of their products lasts me 4-6 months at least- so expensive, yes. But also long-lasting.
